Welcome to the official site of the
Cincinnati Kelly's Killers Historical
Society,
a subsidiary of the Society For
Cincinnati Sports Research. SCSR and its
subsidiaries are not-for profit
organizations dedicated to furthering
the historical appreciation of
Cincinnati's rich sports past.
This particular branch of SCSR is
dedicated to the American Association's Cincinnati
Kelly's Killers. Here
you will find box scores, newspaper
articles, player statistics, multimedia and many more things of
interest.
Our goal is to
bring light to a truly interesting club
that has long been forgotten. We are dedicated to creating an
historical appreciation of the
Cincinnati Kelly's Killers, the
ball yard in which the team called their
home and other lost facts.
As you explore our website please be aware that by contemporary
accounts, the club was formally called
the Reds. The same name as their
National League rivals. So as you read
through this site, you will see the club
referred to as such. Kelly's
Killers was an informal name that was
hardly used during the time of the club
but it is that particular name which has become the
club's current identity.
