Noodles Hahn. Peitz scored the only run on a
Hahn sacrifice fly. |

and Phillies rack up 31 runs with Cincinnati on
the winning end, 20-11. The game featured 14
errors as well. The match seemed like a
throwback to the early years of baseball with
papers called in "an old-fashion game, in which
runs, hits and errors are plentiful." |

In the seventh inning, Pete Rose stole second,
third and home against his former team. |

Cubs, 12-2. Eric Davis and Paul O'Neill both hit
home runs. O'Neill added two doubles and drives
in six runs. |

1884 - On a Sunday afternoon at Union Park, Cincinnati whipped Baltimore by a
score of 7-6. After a 6-2 lead in the fourth,
the Baltimores made a game of it, scoring four
in their half of the inning to tie the game.
Cincinnati scored the winning run in the sixth
on singles by Charlie Barber and Bill Hawes and
a passed ball that brought Barber home. |

none, the Nova Scotia Voyageurs avoid a sweep
with a 5-2 victory over the Swords in the Calder
Cup Finals. |
