|
2003 - At Great American Ball
Park, the Reds defeat the Cardinals by a score
of 4-2. During the game, David Horton, a wanted
criminal, nabbed a kiss with his girlfriend on
the scoreboard's Kiss Cam. Unlucky for him, his
parole officer was at the same game. He was
arrested and eventually sentenced to 4 1/2 years
in prison for trafficking in cocaine, possession
of cocaine and parole violation. |

2013 - At Great American Ball
Park, the Reds come from behind in the bottom of
the ninth to defeat the Braves, 5-4. Down to
their last out, Devon Mesoraco tied the game up
with a shot into the moon deck. Sin-Soo Choo
would follow with a homer into the Reds bullpen
for the walk-off win. The victory would give
Dusty Baker his 1,600 win as a manager, passing
Tommy Lasorda on the all time wins list. |

Cincinnati Reds IV (Kelly's Killers) |

|
1891
- At Boston's Congress Street Grounds, Mike Kelly bats the ball over the Garden wall,
giving his club victory in the fourteenth
inning.
Since Kelly's blast came in the bottom of the
last frame with the score tied and a man on
base‚ he was only credited with a double. Final
score 10-9. |
