Reds runs. Final score 5-4. St. Louis winds up
losing the American Association pennant by two

Boston Beaneaters, 7-5. Reds second baseman Bid
McPhee experimented with using a glove in this
game but chose to continue to be "old school"
and not wear one. He finally gave in during the
1895 season. |
