The Cincinnati Reds of the American Association,
also referred to as the Kelly's Killers, play
their final game, losing to the St. Louis Browns
by a score of 8-0. Due to financial troubles the
club decided to shut down for the remainder of
the season with plans to relaunch for 1892.
However, their league folded after the 1891
season and with it went the Kelly's Killers. |
